We’ll take a look at just five of them here.
The Drake Hotel
If your event calls for something with some class, then the Drake Hotel could be perfect. Named a top Chicago Hotel by Conde Nast, this hotel is a National Historic Landmark. Yet, it’s also been recently renovated to provide all the modern amenities required for your event.
With 35,000 square feet of meeting space across 19 meeting rooms, the Drake is ideal for everything from large conferences and banquets to more intimate meetings or cocktail receptions. Plus, they offer valet parking and the hotel itself is convenient to the train.
One of the best known Chicago conference centers, the Navy Pier is an unforgettable venue with an exhibition hall that spans 170,000 square feet. It boasts a private dining area and provides plenty of on-site parking.
For those attending from out of town, the Navy Pier convention center is less than 20 miles from O’Hare airport. And because it’s located right by Lake Michigan, it offers an impressive 180-degree view of the lake.
House of Blues: Chicago
Located in Marina City in the Loop, the House of Blues is as well known as Navy Pier. However, this venue is considerably more intimate. Even so, the House of Blues can accommodate up to 1,800 people for concerts or other activity-based events.
Planners are able to choose from a variety of semi-private rooms or rent the entire facility for a larger event. Plus, in terms of the menu and the music, there is a ton of flexibility with this venue.
The Game Room at the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel
Scaling down even further from the House of Blues, The Game Room at the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel is a vintage style game room that can accommodate semi-private groups of 10-150, or groups of 150- 250 with a full buyout.
This venue is casual and stylish with a built-in bar, as well as both cocktail and regular seating. There are also billiards and other bar games in case the attendees to your party, cocktail reception, or other team event need to let off a little steam.
London House: Chicago
Located on the North Loop on the Riverwalk, the London House is a truly intimate setting for weddings, social events, and corporate meetings.
With the ability to accommodate up to 350 people, it’s known throughout Chicago for being the only three-level rooftop space. So it’s the perfect venue for a late spring, all summer, or early fall event.
There are four private dining spaces and ten meeting rooms in total, so London House is bound to have something that fits your needs. They also provide top of the line catering and cutting-edge AV.
